According to the CDC, 1 in 5 construction workers is over 55 years old and ready to retire. Nearly every statistic about the construction labor force shows a significant shortage, sending employers searching for the best sites for finding construction workers. 

A recent Korn Ferry report found that by 2030, more than 85 million jobs could go unfilled because there aren’t enough skilled people to take them. Yannick Binvel, president of Korn Ferry’s Global Industrial Markets practice, says that organizations must prioritize talent strategy, taking steps to educate, train, and upskill their existing workforces.
